4 THINGS YOU CAN DO TO HELP SMALL BUSINESSES

What a time we’re living in right now. A lot has changed in the last couple weeks, even days, and we know that the community needs us. All of us. We can’t help but wonder what we can do to help other businesses who are struggling during this time. We’re collected a couple ideas of things we all can do to help local small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Check it out!

  1. Write a positive review or testimonial.

This is such a great way to support the local small businesses during this “stay at home” mandate. Businesses always need Facebook, Google, and Yelp reviews/testimonials! Did you know that statistics say that only one in every ten happy customers leave a review? Let’s encourage our local small businesses with great reviews.

  2. Buy a gift card to use later or gift to a loved one.

For those businesses who have had to stop operating normally, buying a gift card helps them have cash now that you can use later! This will give you a great thing to look forward to when the quarantine is lifted and help your favorite small businesses survive this crisis. It’s a win, win!

  3. Engage on social media.

Do you find yourself scrolling on your phone more these days? Go “follow” and “like” your favorite local businesses and engage on their profiles and pages. Write some comments, like their posts, and maybe even share a post that you particularly enjoy!

  4. Tell your friends!

Referrals are everything to small business owners. Tell your friends about the local businesses you’ve had a great experiences with. The greatest thing you can do for the businesses you love is to share with your friends.

We encourage you to stop and take a moment to think of a small business you love and want to support today. It doesn’t take much to help others out. We have the TIME right now, so let’s show up for the Seattle area community and protect our small businesses. Small businesses need your help right now!

Sincerely, Jean & Emily
